- Curriculum
The course covers topics such as drug synthesis, dosage formulation, chemical analysis, preclinical testing, and marketing of pharmaceutical products. Students also learn about the patenting of new drugs.

The course is divided into eight semesters, with each semester lasting about six months.
- Eligibility
To be eligible for admission, students must have passed their 10+2 exams with a minimum aggregate score and studied subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics. Some universities may also have age restrictions.

Admission is usually based on entrance exams or merit, depending on the college or university. The D.Pharm course is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

A B.Pharm degree prepares students for careers in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare, and research. Some examples of jobs include pharmacist, analytical chemist, food and drug inspector, hospital drug coordinator, and research officer.
After completing the course, you can work as a pharmacist, drug inspector, or open a medical store. You can also work in clinics, food and drug, government hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and education.
