A Diploma in Dialysis Technology (DDT) is a two-year course that teaches students how to use dialysis machines to treat patients with kidney failure. Dialysis is a procedure that removes waste and toxins from the blood.

  • Eligibility

Students must have passed class 12 with 40% marks in PCB/PCM or 50% marks in any other stream. They must also be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the year of admission, but no more than 25 years old. 

  • Teaching

The course is a mix of theory and practical work, with lectures, demonstrations, and supervised clinical practices. 

  • Career opportunities

Graduates can work as dialysis technicians, dialysis therapists, clinical coordinators, or medical technicians in hospitals, dialysis centers, and other healthcare facilities. 

  • Salary

Graduates can earn between INR 49,000 and INR 6 LPA.
